Another eyewitness who said she was at the scene of the incident and knows the deceased very well, told our correspondent that the woman was loved by all as she hawks her materials with seriousness and wondered why such ill fate could befall her.

Narrating the incident, the eyewitness said,“It was around 1am I came into the station to take something. I actually greeted Mama (the deceased) when I pass where she was.

“I saw a black Jeep that some one was inside probably trying to drive out and I went my way not having anything in mind.

“It all happened within seconds and I heard a loud sound. On rushing out as everyone did, what I saw will probably disturb me for a long time.

“I saw the Mama I just greeted not up to 20 seconds ago, crushed on a wall by the Jeep.

“My whole body was shaking as I saw her practically dead with blood all over the ground.

“It was an accident that no one can explain or may find difficult to understand because that place is a small place to warrant such an impact.”

Our reporter further gathered from a source that the Mercedes Emel 320 does not actually belong to Ugwuanyi, but to his friend who left the car on his care.

Rhe source said he was called upon by another superior officer to quickly shift the vehicle away from a parking space which he was trying to do before the tragedy struck.

Açcording to the source, the cause of the accident may not be far from the fact that the officer is probably not conversant with the vehicle and might have not driven it before.
