The Government of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, today, witnessed what the Colonial Government saw in 1929, during the Aba Women Riot.
Insamuch as what happened on Tuesday cannot be called a riot as was 90 years ago, the women in their numbers with their babies on their backs marched from the Aba Town Hall in the metropolis down to Bata Junction and Ogbor-Hill.
They moved with placards and so many disgusting pictures of the terrible situation of Aba roads singing songs of sorrow and practically mourning the dying city devastated with inhuman misrule and lackadaisical leadership.
